What to expect in first Online Private Yoga?

There are a few key things you can expect during your first online private yoga session with me:

  1. Introduction: At the beginning of the session, you can expect to spend a few minutes getting to know each other and discussing any specific goals or concerns you have for the class.

  2. Warm-up: The class will likely start with a warm-up to get your body prepared for the physical practice of yoga. This might include gentle stretches, deep breathing, or other movements to help you relax and focus.

  3. Yoga Postures: The main part of the class will be the asana practice, which is the physical practice of yoga postures. You can expect to move through a variety of postures, either flowing between them or holding them for a set period of time.

  4. Savasana: The class will usually end with savasana, also known as corpse pose. This is a time to relax and let go, allowing the body and mind to rest and integrate the benefits of the practice.

Overall, the goal of the class is to help you relax, feel more balanced, and find a sense of inner peace.

Contraindications of Online Private Yoga?

Online private yoga is generally suitable for most people. However, there are some conditions where it may not be appropriate. In case of experiencing chronic health conditions such as heart problems, vertigo, cancer, or glaucoma; a herniated disk in the spine; severe carpal tunnel syndrome; or recent injuries or surgery, then it is required to consult the doctor before commencing yoga practice (or any other exercise program). This will ensure that the practice is safe and appropriate for your individual needs.

Pregnant women should consult their doctor before starting any exercise program, including yoga for pregnancy. Yoga for pregnancy classes can provide many benefits for expectant mothers, but it is important to get the OK from your physician first.

What to eat before Online Private Yoga?

It is recommended not to drink or eat anything too heavy before yoga class as this could make you feel uneasy or nauseated during practice. If you feel hungry, a small snack, such as a banana, apple, whole grains bread, yogurt, nuts, or seeds can be eaten before the session. This will help you maintain your energy level and focus during the class. It is recommended to wait for at least 2-3 hours after eating a larger meal and 1 hour after eating a light meal and a half-hour gap after light snacks prior to yoga practice.

Avoid eating anything that is high in fat or sugar, as this can lead to feeling sluggish during your practice. and drinking alcohol directly before and after the yoga session.

Difference between general yoga classes and Online Private Yoga?

Learning yoga in a group environment is a relatively recent phenomenon and can be a wonderful way to share each other’s energy as you explore the practice. However, the genetic nature of group classes doesn’t touch the psychological and physiological aspects of individuals.

Personalized yoga session is one-on-one and focuses on adapting the practice to each individual circumstances, abilities, and emotional and physical needs.

How do I stay focused during online private yoga?

To stay focused during an online yoga class, it is important to create a comfortable space for yourself. Find somewhere in your home that you can dedicate as a yoga area and make sure there are no distractions or disruptions around. Set up the device so you can clearly see and hear the instructor without straining your eyes or ears. Make sure to have all of your props handy mat, blocks, straps if needed and try not to check emails/social media while practicing! Lastly, be patient with yourself throughout the class; everyone progresses at different paces so just focus on what feels right for you.
