I am Anne – a certified yoga instructor with years of experience teaching the practice. I started my yoga journey to enhance my own well-being and over the past few years I have been fortunate to be able to share my passion for the practice with others. Offering private yoga allows me to work with individuals of all ages and abilities in a personalized way- helping them gain insight into their bodies and how they can use yoga for stress management while enhancing physical strength & mental well-being. With a deep understanding that comes from years of experience, love for teaching, patience, and care – teaching private yoga is something that has become very close to my heart.

For my private yoga classes I will provide all necessary equipment including a yoga mat, blocks, straps and any other props needed for the session. If you have your own mat, please feel free to bring it with you. Please also wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement.

  • To help you cultivate a daily practice I will guide you through the fundamentals of yoga postures, breathing techniques, simple guided meditation, and relaxation methods. These elements are designed to help make sure that your body feels nourished and healthy.
  • The session can take place once a week, but if needed it can be changed to two or three times per week depending on your request and requirements.
  • Practicing yoga is all about providing individuals with the tools to positively impact their own lives, and ultimately empower themselves. Therefore, you will be strongly encouraged to practice at home.

How do I prepare for my first Private Yoga?

The yoga sessions can be conducted either at my place or yours. In the event of having a session at your location, the best way to prepare for your first private yoga session at home is to create a comfortable and inviting space. Set up your space ahead of time so you won’t have any distractions during the session. Make sure you have enough room to practice for both of us as well as any props or equipment that will be needed like a yoga mat, water bottle, blocks, straps, and blanket. Set yourself up with the proper clothing and accessories so you feel supported during your practice.

Finally, get into an openminded mindset know that its ok if certain poses dont come naturally right away! Be prepared to learn something new about yourself each time you practice yoga at home.

It is recommended to wait for at least 2-3 hours after eating a larger meal and 1 hour after eating a light meal and 30 minutes gap after light snacks before yoga practice. 

Avoid eating anything that is high in fat or sugar, as this can lead to feeling sluggish during your practice. and drinking alcohol directly before and after the yoga session.

How do I cancel Private Yoga?

  • If you must cancel your Private Yoga Sessions, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled class date/time so that another client may be accommodated in your time slot. Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at full cost. 
  •  Private Yoga Sessions are canceled within 48 hours of the starting date/time full 100 % fee will be refunded.
  •  If you need to reschedule your booking, please give at least 24 hours’ notice so that the new booking time and date can be rearranged for you without any charges.
  • No show-up for the scheduled yoga session will charge the full cost of the session.
  • If you face a sudden illness or emergency then please contact me as soon as possible via email- contact@yogawithanne.com or via phone. You will be offered to reschedule the booking.
