You will receive individualized feedback from me after each session so that you can continue to improve and develop your skills. My classes also allow plenty of time for questions or discussion about different aspects of the practice, which helps you deepen your understanding while keeping things interesting. With regular practice, I will help guide and support your journey toward better physical fitness, improved mental clarity, and emotional balance. Additionally, my Zoom session uses a full HD camera and high-quality microphone for optimal experience quality! 

 

 

What to expect from Private Yoga Sessions Online?

In your private session, you can expect the intake form to be filled out prior to the session so that I can better understand what your needs and goals are. Based on this information, I will design a customized session which may include warmups, postures/poses (asana), breathing practices (pranayama), simple meditation, and relaxation techniques tailored specifically for you. As part of the lesson plan, we would also discuss home practice ideas in order for you to continue strengthening your practice outside of our sessions. Throughout the session, I will be available to help and support you as needed. Answer any questions or queries you may have regarding your practice and yoga in general.

Do I need any special equipment for private yoga sessions online?

To participate in online private yoga, you will need:

  • Enough space in your home where you can move around comfortably.
  • Reliable internet connection, a webcam, and audio capabilities ((headphones/speakers)
  • Laptop/ computer or any other device which you can connect to the internet.
  • Zoom application installed on your device.
  • Non-Slip Yoga mat or any other optional props like yoga blocks, straps, or blanket blankets that can be used during the session for increased comfort and stability.
  • Water bottle & towel (Optional).

How to prepare for your first Private Online Yoga Sessions?

There are a few things you can do to prepare for your first online Private yoga class:

1. Before purchasing, please take the time to read through the terms and conditions associated with the Virtual Private Yoga class. This will ensure that you are fully aware of what you are agreeing to.

2. Familiarize yourself with the technology you’ll be using. If the Zoom application is new to you, take some time before your scheduled yoga session to learn how it works. This will give you enough time to feel more comfortable with the application.

3. Set up your space ahead of time so that you won’t have any distractions during the session. Choose a spot in your home where you feel comfortable and where there’s enough room for you to move around freely without knocking anything over.

4. Make sure you have all the props nearby that you might need, such as yoga mats, blankets, blocks, and straps (or whatever is suggested by the teacher).

5. Ensure that you are logged onto the internet at least 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start time of your sessions. This will provide sufficient time for you to get settled in and make any necessary modifications if required.

6. To prevent any stomach discomfort and digestive problems, ensure that you wait at least 2 hours after eating a large meal before starting your session. Do not eat a heavy meal prior to the start of the activity.

7. Finally, relax and enjoy the experience! Yoga is about selfacceptance and understanding. It‘s about learning to find the balance between effort and ease, pushing your limits but not overdoing them. Yoga does not require perfection; instead, it encourages you to accept your limitations and learn to work within them. Practicing yoga can help you become more mindful of how your body feels in different poses as well as encourage patience with yourself when things don‘t go perfectly every time. Online private yoga can be just as beneficial and enjoyable as in-person classes, so allow yourself to let go and be present at the moment.

Do I need to have prior experience with yoga to participate in a Private Yoga sessions online?

No, you do not need to have prior experience with yoga to participate in a private session online. The private sessions are tailored to the individual’s skill level and fitness goals, so even if you are new to yoga you will be provided with help and support to guide you through each pose. 

 

Cancellation and reschedule policy of private yoga sessions online?

  • If you must cancel your private session please provide at least 24 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled class date/time so that another client may be accommodated in your time slot. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 100% of the full price. 
  •  If you need to reschedule your session, please give at least 8 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time. This way, it can be rescheduled free of charge.
  • No show-up for the scheduled yoga session will charge the total cost of the session.
  • If you face a sudden illness or emergency then please contact me as soon as possible via email- contact@yogawithanne.com or via phone. You will be offered to reschedule the booking.

Online private yoga is generally suitable for most people. However, there are some conditions where it may not be appropriate. In case of experiencing chronic health conditions such as heart problems, vertigo, cancer, or glaucoma; a herniated disk in the spine; severe carpal tunnel syndrome; or recent injuries or surgery, then it is required to consult the doctor before commencing yoga practice (or any other exercise program). This will ensure that the practice is safe and appropriate for your individual needs.

Pregnant women should consult their doctor before starting any exercise program, including yoga for pregnancy. Yoga for pregnancy classes can provide many benefits for expectant mothers, but it is important to get the OK from your physician first.

Difference between general yoga classes and Online Private Yoga lessons?

Learning yoga in a group environment is a relatively recent phenomenon and can be a wonderful way to share each other’s energy as you explore the practice. However, the genetic nature of group classes doesn’t touch the psychological and physiological aspects of individuals. Personalized yoga session is one-on-one and focuses on adapting the practice to each individual circumstances, abilities, and emotional and physical needs.

  •  If you need to reschedule your session, please give at least 8 hours notice before the scheduled start date/ time. This way, it can be rescheduled free of charge.
  • No show-up for the scheduled yoga session will charge the total cost of the session and cannot be extended to another date. 
  • If you are late for a private session, the class will end at the original time.
